Welcome to Pivot 2020 – Riding Through It

A series of online horse shows that re-imagine what we can do this summer. 
These shows have something for almost everyone, english and western.   The goal is to fill the gap for those in our equestrian community for whom many of the usual shows they would attend and be involved in during the summer are cancelled.

Let your home arena be your show ring

Film your ride at home.   Show attire is welcome and will have recognition for turnout, but not required!  Long days grooming aren’t as easy as they were before.   

Just be filmed using the pattern and instructions for the class(es) you are entering – this can work perfectly to be part of your normal lesson with your coach/group, or as part of a small barn event you organize with some friends!   $15/class, $45 for 3 or more.

 

Join us the day of the show

There will be an actual “show day”, with live events such as an interactive QA with a judge around it.   A livestream of the submitted entries will be MC’d and shown in an interactive fashion!  You still get to go to a “virtual show” with your friends!  

Streaming will be done on Facebook in a group restricted to those showing, guests they have invited, and sponsors/staff.   It is a safe and enjoyable space to share your accomplishments. 

 

Feedback 

Our judges are selected for the knowledge they have in the industry as well as the ability to provide feedback.   All entries will get personal feedback provided; those that place will have feedback shared on the livestream so everyone learns.
