SHoW RULES
The Pivot Horse Show is a learning experience in a competitive framework; as such it is expected competitors conform to the expectations of established industry rules, such as those of equine Equine Canada. This also helps to provide a consistent experience training for future show experiences.
There are a few key exceptions to facilitate access to the experience of the online horse show, and ones specific to Pivot 2020:
- A horse may be entered more than once in a class and will be looked at as a specific horse/rider combination. We encourage different horses but can appreciate not all situations particular for those operating in riding school environments can provide for this.
- As filming can be done over a period of time we do not have a specific limit for classes; pricing for Pivot 2020 is $15/class to a maximum of $45 for 3 or more classes. Please keep to adjacent levels; ie, cross rail hunter and 2’6 hunter aren’t a good pairing. Western and English from the same entry welcome!
- Classes are planned to be divided by age groups and other divisions such as jump height, however the show organizer reserves the right to combine classes for operational reasons at their discretion.
- Further specifics for how a given class is to run, including any patterns for a given show, is listed on the class list on this page.
- Further rules and declarations, including those related to safety, are on the entry form. Please review this prior to filming.
- Please reach out if you have questions at michael.yingbull@gmail.com — we look forward to having you join us for an amazing experience!
